The Leather Institute had been founded to develop the products and processes to maintain the aesthetic beauty of leather. Although TLI's initial focus was products for maintenance service, we quickly realized that it had to set up an R&D facility to keep restoration products current with the new leathers. We developed a full line of leather care products for the consumer as well as the leather restoration specialist. We formulate and manufacture our products to ensure safety and consistency. As our business grew, so did the inquiries for training from a variety of sectors. We developed programs and procedures for upholstery, automotive, aviation and the garment market in the safe and responsible use of our fine products.
